I'm getting a little lost on the variations for the RX 550.

I'm looking for another GPU that is a close match to my Zotac 1050ti in my daughters PC so basically I have spare PC that can be used the same if needed and more so general use for myself.

The RX 550 Powercolor 4gb when I put it up against the 1050ti it says it only has a resolution of 1600x900 and my 1050ti is running at 1920x1080p

I've spotted both a RX 550 Pulse 4gb and RX 550 4GT LP OC.
These both seem to have higher clock speed than the Powercolor but I cannot find any information if they will play at 1920x1080p or even any comparison to how much better they are or a good comparison to the 1050ti.

Sorry, if these are simple questions I'm just a little lost.

The Rx 550 is not a good card.

Check out this comparison between the Rx 550 and the 1050 Ti: Link

Your 1050 Ti is more than twice as powerful as the RX 550.

For you I'd recommend the GTX 1650: it can be had for $150 - $200 and is about 20% faster than your 1050 Ti.
I just prefer rx 570 4gb or 8 gb.. Cheap and powerful for 1080p gaming..👌

The 1050ti is in my Daughters PC with an i5 4590 16gb ram 450w psu.
My spare I have an i3 4150 8gb ram 450w psu.

I can run something like a 6gb 1060 or something and have the additional connectors on my supply in both PC's but I don't need a really powerful GPU, the 1050ti in my Daughters PC is more than enough.

Just looking for a budget 4gb card 1080p that is close to the 1050ti. The RX550 come's in new at around £65-85 depending on which one from what I can find.

get the cheapest RX550 4GB you can get, all will run very similar on 1080p. More frequency means more fps while gaming, but it would be like 10% increase in performance.

Just for your info: the max. resolution of all these RX550 cards is 4096x2160. While gaming of course less, but 1080p will be fine as well.

Thanks for all the quick responses.

Hope you can understand my confusion, there are three variations of the RX550 two of which have a higher clock speed so do not know what the differences would be, either to get the more expensive one or the cheaper Powercolor.

My daughters PC was the i3 spec with the 1050ti but have just upgraded her to the i5 with the 1050ti.

So now I have the i3 and in need of a GPU, I'm not a gamer but more for everyday use but it would be good if it was capable of not the same but similar to the 1050ti, if her PC goes down or soon I'll start introducing my son into PC's ( instead of his tablet ) for it just to be a budget spare.

Again thanks for taking time to reply.
