Question RX 570 8GB + 4GB Crossfire??

Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me if it would be possible to run two different memory sized RX 570s in Crossfire (Asus 4GB and Sapphire 8GB)? They are from different manufacturers too. (Asus + Sapphire)

This is not possible, sorry. If you are still confused it is possible to have them both run but they will just run as if you only have 4Gb of vram (memory) because crossfire is almost like merging both cards into one meaning that you will only be able to get 4Gb.

you can use them in crossfire. but your game will be limited to use 4GB VRAM only because of how CF works. my advise is avoid crossfire. when AMD launch Navi they officially said they no longer work on CF with the new card. they might still make some effort on older cards like RX580 but eventually AMD will completely stops supporting CF altogether and will only support DX12 multi GPU which the implementation are completely done by game developer. the most unfortunate thing about this is majority of game developer have no interest to support any kind of multi GPU with their game.

Avoid dual GPU like the plague. It causes more issues than is worth the minuscule performance in some games.

Modern games lack little to all Crossfire/SLI support
