Hi Everyone,

First My PC Specs: https://valid.x86.fr/s6kzxx
My monitor is listed as G-Sync Compatible: https://www.mwave.com.au/blog/2019/1/29/msi-optix-monitors-are-now-nvidia-g-sync-compatible
PSU: EVGA 650W Supernova Platinum

I am planning to upgrade my GPU from RX580 to either 2060 Super or 5700 for few reasons
  1. Starting to have issues some VR games after 15m+ of play time. GPU heat and some stuttering at 75c temp.
  2. Some games issues that I need to restart the PC to get better FPS

The GPUs I am looking at are (I don't want the 5700 XT)
  • Zotac GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 8 GB MINI (Amazon.ca price is $534, I can get it for 500 from other stores)
  • PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 (Amazon.ca price is $517)
Games I play:
  • Own: LoL, POE, BnS, GW2, BoxVR, BeatSaber VR,...etc
  • Might buy: NieR:Automata
My questions are :)
  • Any opinion about the Zotac above in compare to 2060s FE?
  • What do you think the best in the above GPUs for 1080p gaming and something can handle future games?
Notes:
  • I saw so many videos and reviews but most of them few months old before AMD roles out fixes for their software or always 5700XT vs 2060s. Also Adrenalin 2020 some issues still exist like problems with VR games/headsets.
  • All benchmarks and validations didn't consider the maturity of the software and they looked performance/cost (or something like this) in their recommendations because as a consumer I want to buy something and use it right away and not wait months for a software to come out that might fix the issues.

Many thanks,
Ice

That shows a comparison between the 5700 & 2060 Super FE. Across an entire benchmark suite they will be equal in performance, noise, and power consumption. Basically it will come down to which you like better.
Thank you for your reply,

Will get the 5700 and try if am having the issues with VR and games and if so will return it and get 2060 Super.

Thanks,

According to Hardware Unboxed PowereColor and Sapphire have the best cooling. Anyway got the GPU and in 1hour had 3 crashes: 2 ingames and 1 in-windows so am returning it. Did everything from Bios update, new drivers, and separate power cables with no luck.
