Recently bought the nitro + rx 5700 xt, I pair it with an I5 8600k with 3200mhz cl14 ram.
When benchnarkiny gta it seems that my game stutters, usually when travelling fast and rendering more in at a time, my old 1060 never had this issue so I was wondering if anyone else has a fix or a similar issue? Thanks.

Solution
It might be your CPU.

What is CPU usage in games?
Did you use DDU when changing GPUs?

I upgraded from a GTX 1050 to an RX580 and my CPU utilization jumped to 100% causing stutters. You do have a more powerfull CPU, but also a more powerfull GPU so this may be the same case.

PSU make and model?
CPU and GPU temperatures in games?
CPU and GPU usage in GTAv?
Does this happen in other games?
Did you uninstall Nvidia drivers with DDU before upgrading to AMD?

GTAV is very CPU demanding.
I forgot to mention that underclocking my gpu helped with it, it's s not as significant anymore but my psu is a tx750w, temps don't go over 67c on my gpu and 74c on my cpu. My windows is a fresh install all my drives were wiped to try and resolve this and finally I feel occasionally other games stutter slightly but gta is the most noticeable

On gta i think it was around 80% on average, I'm not so sure on other games, and installed the drivers on a fresh install of Windows

To be precise many Radeon 5700XT users are facing this problem cause the hardware is new to the market and few even have reported that window's latest update has made their system choppy. It will settle down later on its just a firmware and software incompatibility nothing else to be worried.
