RX 580 8gb or Gtx 1060 6gb

Hey i am wondering if i should buy a strix rx 580 gb or a gtx 1060 6gb for my pc build. I am hoping to run at 60fps on a 1080p and 1440p monitors (both 144hz). I would appreciate any answers. Thanks

Very close performance wise, the 580 I think has the edge at 1440p most of the time.

What monitors exactly?, If either are those screens are freesync enabled then the 580 is plainly the best choice.

Thanks, the 1080p one has freesync but the 1440p doesnt have any.
