Question RX 580 - Black Screen Via Display

RAM - 16GB HyperX

Storage - 1TB Intel 660p nvme

PSU - EVGA 1000w G2

Hello everyone

I've recently set up my first build and I'm unsure of the reason as to why my TV displays just a
black screen.

The RX 580 fans spin and the logo glows.(Both 8pin and 6pin have been connected) I've already tried different PCI-E lanes as well as both HDMI ports. I'm unable to use integrated graphics due to the CPU being a Ryzen 2600.

(The Crosshair extreme already natively supports 2nd gen Ryzen and the seller had also updated to the latest BIOS as of purchase. 1 week ago)

The screen simply detects the hdmi port followed by 720p and 50hz in a box on the top left ( I assume that the TV detects a signal).
Then followed by a Black screen.

I'm also unable to test VGA or displayport as my TV lacks these ports.

How should I proceed?

That or I guess I'll have to simply return the 580

But as I don't have another gpu to test I guess bill have to go with the latter unless another solution arises.

Interesting

Once I pressed SAFE BOOT on the MB, the GPU displayed a multicolored fuzzy output. Tried both HDMI ports again and the issue still remained.
