As the title says.
I have just put together a PC with the following parts:
-ASRock H61M-VG4 motherboard
-i7-2600
-2x8GB Hynix 1333MHz RAM
-XFX RX 580 4GB graphics card
-FSP 500W PSU
-SSD+HDD, fans, case, etc.
The PC turns on, peripherals turn on, but the RX 580 shows no display at all.
I tried to connect my display to the motherboard's D-SUB port, and voila, it worked - but of course with the onboard graphics.
I thought it could be that the dedicated GPU is disabled, but no. Advanced -> North Bridge configuration -> PCI Express was set already as the primary gpu.
I have updated the BIOS to the only available update at ASRock's support page (1.40), still the same.
Could it be that this motherboard just cannot run with the RX 580? Shouldn't it be backwards compatible with PCIe 2.0 boards?
Thanks,
Alex
