RX 580 idle temps

Hello, I just bought a Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ and I'm concerned about the temperatures I'm getting. I read in several reviews that idle temps are usually around the lower 30s, but I'm getting 45-50 even with the case open and room temperature of 25.

Are these temperatures normal or might there be some problem with my graphics card?

That's normal if you haven't changed to a custom fan profile. You probably have applications in the background that is still using the gpu.

I see, thanks a lot for the answer. I was under the impression that these cards were able to keep the temp around the 30s without the fans spinning. I guess that's too much.
