hello , powercolor rx 590 8gb or sapphire pulse rx 580 8gb ?
both have same price and i got the power supply to support them both with no problem.
appreciate any help

Solution
The Red Dragon is a solid card. For the same money, I'd opt for the stronger card in raw performance - which is the 590. Not by too much, but still measurably stronger.

Sapphire are good in general, as are Powercolor - they both are exclusive manufacturers' for AMD (vs someone like ASUS who makes both Nvidia and AMD cards).

When the time comes, focus on capacity more than frequency (for your RAM). The i3 isn't going to benefit very much from >2400MHz and, assuming you're maxing out your 8GB, you'll benefit more from the capacity increase than the speed.
590 is a pre-overclocked 580 (essentially, although a 580 is also a 480 so...)
It'll depend on the specific Powercolor model but, assuming it's a comparable cooler to the Pulse, the 590 is the stronger card.

this is the rx 590 model , and
https://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-112...lectronics&sprefix=rx5,electronics,307&sr=1-1
this is the rx 580 model , the 580 has a alot more reviews and ratings and i was told sapphire was the best manufacturer for AMD, but if the rx 590 powercolor is good and for the same price i would get the 590. i want a card that wont overheat and die quickly.
my cpu is i3 8100 and got 8gb 2400mhz ram , will upgrade to 16gb maybe will change to higher ram freq and new cpu but not right now. ty for reply

i will mostly wait for the next ryzen cpu or intels 10th gen depending on performance . for now the i3 is going great in most areas as im not playing too much AAA games . (ofc will upgrade gpu too).
just one last question , whats the probability of the card coming damaged from shipping? , as this is my first time ordering from amazon and its going to be shipped overseas to the middle east. ty for help

Really depends - the longer it has to go, the more chance there is, I guess.
I wouldn't say any more risky than any other vendor, but impossible to say for sure.

I'm assuming the prices are much higher locally, and that's why you're having it shipped?

my country is in a disastrous state now (closed banks , economic crisis and that sort of stuff) local vendors add 100$ to amd products idk why. so a 590 here costs 300$ and u get the asrock version.
on amazon i can get it for 180$ so thats why im shipping . anyways thank you for the help
