RX 580 - Performance Maximum?

I just got a new RX 580, it works like a charm, and I was wondering what settings I should use to get the most out of my games. I've been testing it out and so far I seem to max around the same frame rate regardless of my settings (High, Medium, Low, Ultra, etc). If anyone has any tips to either get more frames or just better performance overall, much appreciated.

Build:
PSU: Corsair RM 650i
GPU: RX 580
CPU: Intel i5 4590
Monitor: 144hz 1080p Freesync
Any other components will be added at request.

Thanks

As you say that changing the settings between high, medium and low makes no difference in FPS in a game. That usually indicates the CPU is the limiting factor or you don't have enough RAM. 8GB should be enough for most games.

In general. Assuming drivers are properly installed and up to date, there is enough RAM, everything else is running properly and there are not other system issues.
- If settings effect FPS. Then the GPU is the culprit.
- If settings do not effect FPS. Then the CPU is the culprit.

For CPU there aren't many settings which effect FPS. Some which can have effect are Physics settings, view distance and grass detail.

Depends on the GPU really.

With mid range GPU's at 1080P they are only going to push so many FPS.

Now if it was a GTX 1070 or above then yeah.
