I just bought RX 580 8Gb to replace my 1050Ti. After installing the driver, I tried to play CSGO with the same settings as I used on 1050 TI (max graphic + mot. blur)

while my 1050 Ti got the average of 121FPS,
the RX 580 only got the average of 79FPS.

Confused, I tried to check the WattMan.
Running on 100% load with 90'C which is normal (I think?)

then I tried MSI Kombustor's Lakes of Titan x64

My 1050Ti's average fps is 69FPS
while the RX580 got about 38FPS

Here's the other part details :
Windows 7 SP1 x64
ASUS H81M-E LGA 1150
Intel Core i3 - 4150 @3.5Ghz
RAM DDR3 16Gb 1600
dA DENGEN PSU 600W 80+ Bronze

please enlight this lost + confused lamb

Temps sound good now.

Userbenchmark shows your system is running at 1366 x 768. Is that right? If so, that lower resolution will cause the CPU bottleneck to become more evident. Also, UserBenchmark only runs in DX10; while most games today run in DX11.

A better benchmark to really show if your GPU is performing as it should in DX11 is 3DMark FireStrike. It can be found on Steam. Screenshot results and upload to imgur.com or similar and share here. Looking for the graphics score not the overall score, but both would be good.

For a CPU upgrade, if you could find an i5-4590 or similar that would alleviate your CPU limitation. They have a decent price on the used market, at least in on eBay they are less around $100.

i dont have any 220mm chasis fan. is that really worth it?

i planned to upgrade everything (MBD, RAM, proccessor) since i will be upgrading to a newer generation of proccessor (LGA1151).
but, if only changing from i3 to i5 within same generation (4th) really will do, then it's fine to me.

but i rly must think about this twice (yeah u should too), if changing to i5 fail to fix it, then the worst scenario's pit will only go down deeper.

For the 3D marks, i will upload the result tomorrow.

idk if it fits for 2 on the front, never tried it, i guess it's worth to try (not to mention that i'm out of chasis fan lol)

Like Madmatt said, it's better to have the fans ontop for exhaust, intake will push air from the cpu down to the gpu. If you can use 2 in front, 1 ontop, 1 on the side panel, 1 on the back would be ideal. If not just switch the top fan around. 220 mm on the back is so much quieter and moves more air, not necessary though.

Now you use MSI Afterburner or similar program to monitor CPU and GPU usage in-game to see if and how bad your CPU is limiting your GPU in a particular game.

how can i do it? from what i know, Afterburner only monitors GPU voltage and clock, the only thing that Afterburner see from CPU is the heat from it. how can i know how much my cpu limiting my gpu?

I did as madmatt30 said. 70'C under 100% load (65'C actually, but sometimes it reach 70'C). Now I believe there wont be any other heat issues.

on CSGO, the RX580 did worse than 1050Ti, but on BDO (Black Desert Online), it OUTPERFORM 1050Ti. im confused again....

I'm thinking it could just be that AMD drivers aren't as good with dual-core CPUs as Nvidia; which is what Digital Foundry has been saying for a couple of years now in their videos. They say if you have a dual-core w/ HT it's better to go with a GTX 1060 rather than an RX 580.
