I just upgraded my stock Dell 8700 desktop with a 700w EVGA Bronze psu and a brand new Rx 580. I changed the psu first and successfully booted with the original NVIDIA gpu installed. Before deleting my NVIDIA drivers I installed a spare GTX 1030 and again successfully booted. I deleted all gpu drivers using DDU (found here: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html). After fully deleting my NVIDIA drivers I removed the 1030 and installed the Rx 580 but starting the pc resulted in 5 short beeps and a POST failure. I am unsure if the problem is with my power supply or my gpu and my own efforts at troubleshooting the problem have resulted in persistent POST failures for the Rx 580 and successful startup with the GTX 1030. Any insight or advice would be extremely helpful.
