Hi! I've recently RMA'd my Asrock RX580 and I can't decide whether should I get a Gainward GTX 1660 Ghost or a Sapphire RX590 Nitro+. I don't like how the 1660 has only 1 HDMI 1 DVI and 1 DP as I don't wanna buy an adapter to plug my tv in as well, and it also has 2 GB less VRAM but it also has the new nvidia encoder and is a bit faster than the rx 590 as far as I've seen. Both GPUs are priced the same!

Both are neck to neck in performance.

VRAM will not be an issue for 1080p gaming.

Nvidia removed the VGA port from 10 series and in future as well, all their cards will be coming with no VGA.

If thinking to buy GTX 1660, either use an adapter or simply upgrade your monitor.

If they're priced the same, I'd go with the 1660.

I tend to favor AMD, but the near equal performance (the 1660 might have a SLIGHT edge) and much lower power consumption says go with the 1660.

Why do you need an adapter? What kind of connection does your TV have?

TV uses HDMI, and my monitor is a bit old so it uses VGA which I already have an adapter for which is also HDMI. The 1660 has 1xDP 1xHDMI 1xDVI so it's not the ideal
