Hello,
I have this problem;
I have an MSI RX 6600 MECH X2 which I identified as the cause of some safety power offs. I changed cases to a smaller, less ventilated one, because i moved houses, and forgot to adjust my manual fan curves. I have increased its core power to 120W from 100W. So, it shutted off as Tjmax reached 95oC, but I noticed no throttling before that - it was very sudden. The easy solution is to crank up the fans (which i did), but I read in forums and pages that junction temp for theese cards is 110 or 115 oC. I think 95 is very low, and it means around 78-80 main gpu temps (which are not great but not terrible). I have MorePowerTool installed and saw that stock bios has 95oC limit, as other bioses, from other rx6600 cards do(I do not plan on flashing other bioses- I just was looking if this was normal).
So, what do you think, can I increase the limit to more than 95 because it is very restrictive, if i dont want 2500rpm in the hot summer? Maybe 95 was meant to be for main GPU temp? Can i make it look for main temp? Should I repaste because the two temps are not close enough?
What do you think?

I did not change shut down temp. It was like that before. I set it to 120W, having in mind that in no way it could reach 115°C, but the limit was less and I have a problem. Also, it does not throttle, it turns off instantly.

What's the core temp when the Tjct hits/nears 95C?

What case do you have it in now?
What case fans are installed and where and what direction (intake/exhaust)
What CPU
What CPU cooler
Around 77-80
Cougar MX360RGB
2 in front intake(from AIO(Arctic liquid freezer II 280mm)) and 1 in back 120mm exhaust
r5 3600
Arctic liquid freezer II 280mm
