Im doing a new build, and was hoping for the rx480 but its over $350 in canada and I cant spend more then $250, so what are my options? I want it for gaming, Im getting the i3 6100 for now and upgrading to a better cpu/gpu next year If i can save money. But for now should I get the gtx 960? I can get this one http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487155

or should I wait for the release of the rx460/470?? Im confused, so any help would be appreciated!

we dont have any benchamrks for the 460 or 470, so no one can advise you to wait for them or not. the 960 is a solid card, but prices will be falling quickly after the RX 480 launch (today), so i would wait a few weeks to buy anything

I would honestly wait a few weeks if you can, save a little more money, then see what comes out from the Canadian retailers. Also, www.shopbot.ca is your friend! It'll find you the best prices in Canada for just about anything from almost all of the online retailers (including some brick/mortar stores like Memory Express).

P.S.- Memory Express will price match any competitor in Canada, as long as it's the exact same part number

Avoid HIS like the plague. They build extremely low value cards that will have (typically) lower performance than reference cards. They use sub-par ram components and the cheapest non-binned chips to make their cards as cheap as possible. They also have a high failure rate!
