I have a rx6900xt, r7 5800x, 32gb3200mhz, msi x570gaming edge wifi, nzxt kraken x63 aio and a 750w gigabyte 80+ psu. Can it be possible that im getting less performance bc i only have a 750w psu than id get with a 850 or 1000w psu? I play on a 2k 144hz monitor and in cyberpunk 2077 i get on max setting without raytracing about 80-100fps without RTX, but in Apex legends i often have fps drops from 150fps to100fps even tho apex should be much easier to run and it somehow doesnt matter if i play on max settings or low i sometimes even get less fps on average when I play on low? My PC also makes a loud buzzing noise when playing games, and i have also got massive fps drops in fortnite

Solution
I opened the PC and it seems the noise starts when i play games so as soon as i start playing the noise start and its either the gpu or psu i cant tell its somehow really difficult to tell which it is. So i should still replace my 750w psu i guess
It could be the GPU coil whine or the PSU. I would still insist on changing the PSU to a reputable brand from the PSU tier list.
Open your case and try to play games to check where the noise is coming from. But in my honest opinion, I would replace that Gigabyte PSU as soon as you can. Gamers Nexus did a couple of videos where the Gigabyte PSU blows up. While not all of the Gigabyte PSUs are incapable, I would still change brands to be on the safe side if you want to save your components from having any sort of damage. Look for the PSU tier list on Tom's hardware forums and get the highest tier possible with at least 80+ Gold efficiency rating. I would also recommend you get an 850 watt power supply so you can give your components, especially your GPU, some power draw headroom.
