Hey guys,
I've recently decided to overclock my CPU (first build, first OC). I just wanna know if my temps and voltages are within acceptable range or if you have any suggestions.
I used AIDA64 for the stress test.
Specs:
Ryzen 3 1300x OC'd to 4.0ghz @ 1.3875v -
Max Temps 78c (HWMonitor), 75c (AIDA64)
Average Stress Temp - 68.5c
Lowest Temp - 38c
Idle Temp - 38c - 45c
Corsair H60 AIO (Pump at 12v constant)
MSI B450M Bazooka Plus
Palit Jetstream GTX 1060
Hyper X 2400mhz 8gb (to be replaced with 3000mhz in the future)
Seasonic M12II-520w
I also got some weird freezes when I was dialing up the voltages. It went like:
3.9ghz @ 1.3v = booted and tested for 10 mins with no issues
4.0ghz @ 1.3125 = freeze at BIOS splash screen
4.0 @ 1.3250 = goes through BIOS, freezes on black screen
4.0 @ 1.3500 = freeze at windows login screen before UN and PW field appears
4.0 @ 1.3650 = freeze at windows login screen after UN and PW field appears
4.0 @ 1.3750 = freeze at windows desktop
Are those freezing issues normal during OCing?
Thanks a bunch!
