Hello, I've updated all my driver's and did a clean install of windows but my computer is lagging when I first open a appilication. For example I enter a website like YouTube and it will take like 5 seconds to load. Is this normal for a build like this ? I came from a Intel laptop and it loads pages instantly almost. Also another problem when playing lol my frames will start at 325 fps but then drop down to the high 100s and sometimes stay and sometimes bounce right back up. I don't see any processes running in the back to cause this. i know I don't need these frames but I want to know what is causing my performance drops. I'm just trying to get the most performance out of the system. I have the power mode set to performance as well. Thank you in advance for any tips or solutions you can give me.

Just looking, hm, I see you already did overclock. To be sure, you might head over to ASRock's site, and download the latest drivers from them. Also, I would recommend to set your bios back to defaults. If you overclocked using AMD's Ryzen Master for example, turn all of that off as well. Set the bios back to default, and then update it to the latest version and see if it acts better. If so, then apply your overclock again.

Just kind of strange without seeing it.
Your youtube issue could be related to your internet connection. I'm not sure. What browser do you use? Personally I prefer chrome.

As far as the fps in games, seems like that's what you should expect based upon detail levels etc. The 1050ti is a lower midrange card so it should play with decent details between say 30-60fps in games at 1080 at say medium/high settings. A better graphics card would give better performance.

I also have a Ryzen 1600 myself and don't have many issues. I will say that these systems seem to wake a up a good bit with some overclocking however. But I had a Radeon 7950, which was about the same performance level as your 1050ti. I upgraded to an RX 480, which is closer to the 1060, and I'm able to crank details in games up much higher.

The reason you will see high fps in the loading menu however is because the card is basically not doing anything. But 60fps or above should be smooth.

Hey thanks for the response. It's not my connection though because my laptop is running faster than this desktop. Also it's not during the loading screen it's during gameplay that fps will drop from low 300s to low 100s.it is not consistent with heavy graphics like an explosion happening on screen but just random. Any ideas?
