Ryzen 1700 temp wrong

I just built this system a week ago. Ryzen 1700, crosshair vi mobo. My cpu temp reads really low 10 c at idle but ambient is 22c. Even under full load it barely hits 30. Is there something wrong? Im new to building a pc. Stock cooler

Have you tried different monitoring softwares?

AMD is using a 20C offset for X series CPUs, in order to cool them better. Also, temp sensor is not working well for temperatures below 20-25C, as shown in 1600X review. Short answer: do not mind idle temps, and add +20C to load temp number. If you want to know real temps of the chips- read the 1600X review on Toms.

Im using several different programs. They are all with 5° of each other. Thats nuts that it reads 20° lower than it really is.

Sorry- I said it wrong- it actually reports 20C higher than what it really is, in order to run the cooler at higher rpm. Sorry again- and check that Toms 1600X review for actual temps.
