I am planning to create my first build for gaming and minor cad work (for school). My budget for this build is $950. I need someone smarter than me to give me some opinions or advice on what i should change in my part list. Thanks!

OC the 2600 upto 2600x speed, which you should be able to do with the stock cooler amply and the rest should be fine...

Ok, this build is $30 more expensive, but:
-16Gb ram
-240Gb SSD
-i7-8700 instead of amd
-2 Tb hdd
-GTX 1060 6Gb, its should on par with 580. Do not worry about the 6Gb vram, those class cannot optimize the vram above 4Gb anyway.

This should do you better longer run than your build. Case is not an very important factor, additional fan can be added later when it really needed. For me the $30 more expensive is worth it .
