Ryzen 2600x & Vega 64 or Ryzen 2700x gtx 1070?

Hi guys!

My brother is going to buy a new gamer PC and he asked me to create a plan for him. As you can see in the title the question is that. Ryzen 2600x & Vega 64 or Ryzen 2700x gtx 1070? In my country these two configurations are in the same price. 1080 is more expensive than the vega 64 with ryzen 2600x. Vega 56 and the 1070 ti is more expensive than the 1070 as well with the ryzen 2700x. I would ask your opinion about these two configs. He would use the PC in 99% for gaming.

Why not a 2600x and GTX 1070 ti? That would by my suggestion.
For gaming, you don't need an 8 core/16 thread CPU, so the 2600x is the better choice (for the price).

For pure gaming rig, Ryzen 7 is not needed.
Just go for 2600 or 2600x ad grab either Vega 64 or GTX1080 or 2070.
Vega 64, 1070ti,1080 and 2070 should e more or less not that far from each other. Just pick the one fit to your budget more (I mean cheaper).

You are planning to OC; 2600, if you're not: 2600x.
