Question RYZEN 2700x and RAM 2400mhz question

Hello, my CPU is ryzen 2700x and my ram memory HyperX 32GB (2x 16gb) KIT DDR4 2400MHz CL15 . Do you think it would be worth it to sell my RAM and buy some with more MHZ ? PC is used for gaming and photo editing. Thank you (P.S. I might return ryzen 2700x and buy 3900x in future)

You could gain from 3-12fps in games going from 2400MHz to 3200MHz.
But you also need to take in consideration the latency (CL, CAS Latency) of the RAM you are getting.
Higher latency or timing translate into slower performance. So high latency 3200MHz RAM might perform similar to low latency 2400MHz RAM.
A 32GB (2x 16gb) 3200MHz DDR4 kit with the same CL15 as your 2400MHz kit might be twice as expensive.
