System Specification :

CPU : Ryzen 3 1200
GPU : Asus Geforce GTX 1050 ti 4 GB
GPU Drivers : 388.41
Motherboard : Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3
RAM : HyperX Fury 8 GB 2400 MT/s
Power Supply : Zebronics 600W
HDD : 1 TB WD Blue
Monitor : Resolution 1366x768
Windows 10 64bit

I have noticed massive FPS drops in Battlefield 1 so i have turned on necessary stats with MSI Afterburner to diagnose performance of GPU and CPU performance,

It was 20% to 50% GPU usage with 100% CPU usage, clocks and Memory usage was also good. with All Ultra, low and medium settings. Also V-sync off. FPS limited was good. I was getting only 20 to 55 fps.

So i checked out other games as well CSGO and Battlefield 4 same thing happened with this games also. GPU usage is not going above 55%.

I did stress test where GPU usage was almost 100%.

I have seen youtube videos where people are playing battlefield 1 with 100% CPU and GPU usage with same specifications as mine Ryzen 3 1200 and GTX 1050 ti.

So something is wrong.

Tried this solutions :

1) Re-plugged GPU
2) Nvidia Control panel power option set to maximum performance
3) Reinstalled games
4) Set memory restriction to ON/OFF
5) Turned ON/OFF DX12
6) Rolled back GPU Driver
7) BIOS is upto date
8) Vsync ON/OFF

But none of the above worked.

Please help me to solved this problem.

Thanks and Advance. :)

Yes i have freshly installed windows with hardware. I will check out BIOS version and will run 3dmark basic edition and will post address.

Thanks for your reply :)

Current BIOS version is F9d . Should i update it to F10 or stick to F9d?

that´s not the latest 3dmark I linked to you. Please run 3dmark timespy:
https://www.techspot.com/downloads/5775-3dmark.html

don´t know if the really old 3dmark11 did sense the core frequency of the 1050 and the turbo core of the 1200 correctly, but the 1050 TI should have >=1290MHz and the turbo core of your CPU >=3200MHz

Use msi afterburner or GPU-Z to get the temperature and frequency of your graphics card

At which speed/frequency does the RAM run? >=2666MHz would be good

How hot is the CPU getting while gaming and at which frequency? Use coretemp

AMD chipset driver installed?

The issue is your zebronics power supply. It will never provide the required power to your GPU and it will always underperform. Please take a moment to read the following article and get at least a tier 2 PSU for your gaming rig.

If you are not aware, these cheap PSUs not only make the PC components under perform, but they also take them down in time. Are you located in India?

Okay i will run timespy... but i compared my 3dmark 11 performance results with others same specification, my system results are way lower than others.

But i will run timespy and will post results. My CPU temps never go beyond 46 celcius with max 3100Mhz and GPU temps never go beyond 57 celcius which i already checked with msi afterburner.

In game GPU frequency at 1709MHz and GPU Memory is 3504Mhz and GPU memory max usage is 1750 MB.

I need to check RAM frequency.

And yes i have already installed AMD Chipset Drivers.

Yes i am looking for someone to test my GPU and will do that as soon as i find one.
I am sure i have connected 8Pin ATX12V power plug as well.

I ran GTX 260 with two 6 pin connector with same PSU.

Thanks you for your reply.

and yes i am located in india.
I ran gtx 260 with same power supply and i will check out that PSU is bad or not.

Here is 3Dmark timespy result : https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/23839695 which is entirely different from previous result and is very low as well. Now what is the problem it is power supply or anything else?

I again request you to please check the PSU. Please try a tier 1 or 2 PSU. Your PSU is not even tier 11, if there exists one. Before you damage other components, please take it out of your system. Your graphics card is not getting power on the +12V rail and is therefore underperforming.

And, if you really don't believe all this, can you put your graphics card in another system to rule it out?

Yes this is what i am going to do next. Without switching on system next time i am taking out GPU and will test in other system.

Thank you for your reply. :)

First i will check the PSU. I came to know its a 8 year old crap. Then i will check out shadowplay in Gforce Experince.

Thanks for your reply.

I checked GPU to other PC with good PSU it worked great with 100% GPU usage. Then i tried my GPU to PCIx4 slot and there GPU was working with 100% GPU usage all stats were good. Again switched to PCIx16 and problem persist with 50% and less GPU usage. Is PCIx16 slot faulty??? BTW i am going to buy a good PSU for my PC and also suggest good PSU under 4000 INR.

Thank you. :)

So i have changed my power supply to Corsair cx450. Now when i play Battlefield 1(Multiplayer) it is good for first 10 to 20 minutes but then FPS drops to 25 to 40. But on loading screen and spawning screen gpu usage and fps is good. But problem starts when i start playing game.

Help me.
