System:
Gigabyte ab350m-ds3h
Ryzen 3 2200G
8 GB Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 2666 (2x4)
GTX 1060 6 GB

In BIOS, I have the initial display device set as the GTX 1060 (PCI Express 1).
The Integrated graphics is set to disabled.
Monitor connected to GTX.

I see the BIOS screen on boot, but when Windows boots it shows the total system memory as 7.7 GB. Why is the system still using 0.3 GB of RAM for the iGPU when it is disabled?

If I set the UMA mode to Forces, I can manually set the UMA buffer to 64 MB, but then the iGPU is still enabled and I don't see the BIOS screen on boot.

In the BIOS, you should see something along the lines of "Advanced Features" or "Advanced Chipset Features". Select that, and try to find graphics settings, video settings, or something else along those lines, then, look for an option to change the amount of memory you have allocated.

I can manually set the memory as low as 64 MB, but not zero. When I do this however, my system still thinks it has 2 GPUs installed, and the initial video output value in the BIOS is automatically changed from PEG to integrated. When my PC boots, the BIOS screen won't show.

If I set the "integrated graphics" to disabled, my system only sees the GTX, but I'm still missing RAM.
