Will it be worth it?
I have this Acer oven toaster as my supposedly temporary laptop. I planned to buy a gaming laptop this year, but RTX came in and the Legion Y740 deal is hard to pass on. I have tight budget for now and would like to save up for that one. Hence, upgrading this potato was the most plausible idea that comes to mind. I only do coding and PCB simulation stuff as school work; some light gaming here and there.
However, I'd like to try some AAA titles that I have in my account right now. Will that configuration work? Furthermore, I can use those parts on the Legion if I do buy it right? I'd like to hear your insights, Thank you!

EDIT: Laptop - Acer Aspire 3 A315-41. 2 Slots for RAM and single slot for storage.

I'm a little confused by your question the way it is worded. Are you asking if you can upgrade your current Acer laptop? If so, we'd need information as to what exact laptop you have now; unless I'm not understanding what you're trying to say, the only thing you've identified is a future laptop you'd like to buy, not the laptop you currently have. Most laptops have extremely limited upgrade options.

I'm sorry I missed that one. I have Acer Aspire 3. I've looked it up and checked the internals, I have 2 memory slots but only one room for storage.
