Greetings you all!
I'm looking to upgrade to a Ryzen 3700x from my struggling i5-4690. My focus will be gaming, photo- and video editing, as well as VR.
Now, I've already looked at new motherboards and RAM kits, but all the "infinity fabric" and fine-tuning that you can do, is honestly really confusing me and making it a much harder decision.
These are the two products I've decided upon right now, and as far as I can tell, they're compatible:
* MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon Socket-AM4
* G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4 3600Mhz 16GB (F4-3600C16D-16GTZNC)
This almost exceeds my budget and I was just wondering whether or not you can actually go cheaper. And if so, how much cheaper with what components, without sacrificing much in performance, if any at all?
Thanks in advance, have a lovely day!
