Ryzen 5 1500X system barely getting 60fps on CS:GO

I have a Ryzen 5 1500x overclocked to 3.9 ghz at 1.5V. On a MSI B350M PRO-VDH paired with Aorus 1060 6Gb and 8 gb of ram. When I am playing CS:GO I have my settings on low and multi core rendering on. I maybe top out FPS at 65-75 and it’s a pain. Please help

1.5 volts is quite high. I got mine to 3.9 @ 1.325v. I'm pretty sure the maximum safe voltage for ryzen 5 is 1.425, so you should probably lower it.

Use programs like cpu-z or even task manager to check your cpu performance while under load. If it's noticeably lower than it should be you may have caused some damage, or might even have a faulty chip.

I agree with lewis to check cpu-z... i'm sure you know how to do all this stuff since you overclocked but man.. 1.5v should really be putting out some series heat... what are you using to cool it?

First thing you have to do in such cases is REVERSE ALL OVERCLOCKS. All of them. Set the CPU and the GPU to it's default/factory state and try again.

Yeah... I also agree with penguin... reset the cmos or at least kill the OC on the cpu and play some... I would have thought you would have played with it at stock settings though first...

I have an Arctic Freezer 33 eSports One with a custom fan curve that keeps the CPU under 60 degrees while running Prime95 with an OC of 3.8 @1.31875v, so heat isn't the problem. I know the silicon lottery is a huge gamble with any Ryzen chip, but I don't think 1.325v is enough voltage to maintain an OC of 3.9 when stressing the CPU.

Okay then I don't believe you. There's no way in hell you're getting 3.9 @1.325v stable unless you got the only 1500X in existence capable of that OC at that voltage.

Okay then I don't believe you. There's no way in hell you're getting 3.9 @1.325v stable unless you got the only 1500X in existence capable of that OC at that voltage.

You don't need to believe me. Mine got to 3.8 stable at 1.25v. I got it to boot at 3.9 @ 1.2875v, but needed to up it a bit more to make it stable.

Also, I'm definitely not the only person to get it to 3.9 @ 1.325. Just look it up.

Booting up and being stable under load are two totally different things, and the fact that you mentioned booting up at all leads me to believe that you have no idea what you're talking about. I have looked up 1500X overclocks, and NO ONE is getting 3.9 STABLE at 1.325. Once again, there's no way in hell you're getting 3.9 @1.325v stable unless you got the only 1500X in existence capable of that OC at that voltage. Post a video of your PC after running Prime95 for an hour at 3.9 with that voltage, and I'll believe you. Of course you won't do that because it's not possible. I don't think you understand what stable means.

I hate to break it to you, but that still doesn't prove anything. I've watched multiple 1500X OC videos, and NO ONE has been able to get 3.9 or higher without some serious voltage boost as well as increasing the LLC. Stop lying to yourself. There's no way you're hitting 3.9 with such low voltage. I'm going to mute this post so I don't have to read any more of your bullshit.
