Hello,

At idle I keep getting temp spikes from around 24C to 38C, with the wattage going through spikes as well. I have checked my temp and wattage on HWmonitor and HWinfo64.
HWinfo64 shows my cores going through load spikes as well, normally going from 2199MHz all the way to 3698MHz.

In the bios I'm idling at around 35C with no spikes in temp showing. Under a stress test it's temp is around 53C with no spikes in wattage or core speed, according to Monitor.
Specs;
MSI Tomahawk b350
Ryzen 5 1600x

Any suggestions as to what to do would be great!

Solution
In Ryzen, AMD introduced flexible load distribution between cores, adjusting them as needed and by temperature and load on each core. As it's happening very fast it changes a lot and only way to stop it is to set CPU frequency manually or OC it.
