So I'm finally upgrading my gpu after using this pc for 1 and a half years now. I wanted to know how to intall the new gpu. Do I need to uninstall/disable the integrated graphics in order for the pc to recognize the rx 580 or should I just install the rx 580, hook up the monitor cable onto the gpu, intall the drivers and good to go?

Solution
With an integrated card, no, you shouldn't have to.
But it is generally recommended.

Download DDU to uninstall the drivers correctly. I installing them from the Programs menu in Control Panel may not suffice and you'll end up with major issues when installing the new drivers.

Also, make sure to install the new drivers from AMD directly.

Even tho it is not necessary, doing this would cause more good than harm?
