I'm building a new pc and i have the ryzen 5 3600 for 209euros here while the 2600 is for 129 and as much as i wanna be up to date and play 60f 1080p I'm nothing but confused over here

You got the new gen ryzen with the 7nm and the 10 to 20fps difference on which i see on most benchmarking videos but also ppl say that you should go for the last gen and invest more in the GPU so how about a little help here

Which is more future proof, more powerful?
Which should i go for and if would please explain why that'd be great.

I have a Ryzen 5 2600 OC'd to 4 GHz which gives me 2600x + performance.
And paired with my GTX 1660 Ti, I get anywhere from 85 to 120+ fps in most current games set to Ultra.
See my Signature for my full specs.
I personally will NOT be upgrading to a 3000 series CPU until at least sometime next year when they get all the BIOS and other bugs worked out.
I see way too many people having issues getting the 3000 series CPUs to run properly and the RAM support so far is sketchy at best.
You could buy 3200 or 3600 RAM from your MB QVL just to find that it actually only runs at 2133 or slightly higher.
