Hi!
I've recently upgraded to the 2600x and noticed something that seems odd to me
The cpu is running at a constant 4.1-4.2Ghz all-core boost while idling or at roughly 5-15% utilization
I've checked background processes etc and all seems normal, like I said 5-15% utilization doing standard browsing or streaming etc.
Specs:
Ryzen 5 2600x
Asus X470-F
Asus GtX 1070 Strix
Noctua NH-D15
Temps and noise aren't really an issue, it just seems like a waste to ALWAYS be boosting that high, and a slightly quieter rig is always welcome.
Anyway here's what Ryzen Master is saying;
Any tips on reducing the clocks while idling would be appreciated!
I've updated the chipset drivers etc as well, and tried looking for C-States which I've seen mentioned. No clue how to find them or enable/disable them
