Hello again, I've got a new build and I'm a bit worried about the temperature of my cpu.
Build list:
Antec Luce P110
Asus tuf b450 plus gaming
Ryzen 5 2600x
G.skill flare x 3200 cl14
Gainward phantom rtx 2080
Antec vp700p
Scythe kabuto 3 cpu cooler
All bios settings are auto except d.o.c.p. (xmp) on.

In gaming (pubg, dragon age inqusition, r6 siege...) im getting about 55 to 65 celsius, but in prime95 after about 30 mins temp hits 79 degrees.
Is that a bit too much considering the cooler i've installed or a normal temp for these chips?
Hwinfo64 reports cpu+soc tdp at 122W constant in prime95.

Solution
On a 2600 when OC to 4.0 all cores I get temps in the same range during benchmarks so that seems normal. I have not done a 30 min prime95, most I did was 10min stress and I hit 63c.

Maybe look at a graph to see when it suddenly went way up? Did it hold up at 60c for 20minites and then suddenly went to 79? If it's hitting it early then maybe something is wrong with the cooling, but after a while I imagine it will eventually heat up, just see when that point was

Based on you gaming temps, I think your fine. I bet it stays cool for a while during prime95 and then it climbs over the second half
