I'm planning to build a pc with ryzen 5 3600..
Changed my mind from i7 8700..
But I'm worried about how the ryzen 5 3600 working on turbo boost..!
All core 4.2ghz stable?? With nice temp!
Please give honest review if anyone using it!
Also suggest the best value B450 motherboard... Which could allow me to boost all core 4.2ghz.. stable
I won't Overclock anyway!

Best inexpensive atx board for it.

The stocm cooler is fine if your arent overclocking. If you dont want it to be too loud you can get a better cooler.

Ryzen 3600 doesn't boost all core to 4.2Ghz, your expectations are already wrong. That's not the way Ry3K works. Read / watch some reviews first, don't set yourself up for disappointment over nothing.

3600 performs better than the 8700 all around.

The boost clocks of the 8700 and 3600 are not on all cores.

The 3600 will only boost to to 4200mhz on 1 core, but it still outperforms the 8700.
Thanks.. :)
Can you please suggest a best motherboard for it!
I won't do overclock.. Bt want to get best stable performance as much as all core stability whatever the speed is !

3600 is a good choice over 8700 then?

It's not because of the max boost clock speed, it's because it can sustain high intermediate clocks in all cores across the entire duration of the work load. You may or may not ever actually see it hit max boost clocks, but if it's achieving benchmark results typical of what reviewers are getting then you will know it's performing well.

In short: don't use clock speed alone as the indicator of performance, use a benchmark that's commonly used so you can compare. One like Cinebench20.

I'd reccomend a b450 motherboard from msi with the "usb bios flashback" feature.

This feature allows you to update the bios for 3rd gen support without as supported cpu.

Boards like the MSI B450 gaming plus, MSI B450 tomahawk, and MSI b450m gaming plus have this feature.
I would go for Tomahawk Max if price difference is little..
Well how about B450 Aorus elite..! ?
No budget MSI have dual m.2 except Mortar maybe!

Ryzen 5 3600..
B450 Aorus Elite..
1660 6GB (in future)
3000mhz 2x8GB..
Gigabyte 240GB SSD..
Intel 660p (in future)
1TB Seagate barracuda 7200rpm
Antec NeEco 550/ CX550
Cooler master n400 (will upgrade into NZXT later)

Looks good??
Also suggest me a minimum gpu for 1080p display..
Will upgrade in 1660 later..! For video editing..
I won't do anything gaming!

What GPU do you have currently?

Be aware Ryzen 3600 has no integrated graphics and need a graphics card to boot.

Everything else looks good. The 3600 is significatly better than the 8700 for video editing, so you made a good choice there.

The CX550 is a good unit. The NeoEcos aren't good tho.

I'm planning to buy an used 1050 or something.. Just for the display..
Will do video editing later.. Then will buy a 1660..

CX 550 a little bit pricy..
Would be any problem with antec?

A used 1030 or 1050 would be a good idea just for a display out.
For a card of that tier, the Antec should be fine.

For a 1660 or 1660ti the Antec should be upgraded. A CX450 is fine for a 1660 if you need to save some money.

We also building the same Proc / Ram / and Board. But I am thinking to go for B450 Tomahawk Max but I am having complications about compatibility of my RAM (CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO 16GB 2X8G 3000MHZ). I don't know why but if it'll have complications I'll go for B450 Tomahawk than Aorus I heard Tomahawk is better than Aorus with reviews.

@remixislandmusic - Are you sure we can run B450 Tomahawk with Ryzen 3600? Where can I see that Bios Flashback anyway?

Thanks
