Question Ryzen 5 3600 on A320M-A PRO M2 MOBO Not working

So I'm currently using:

• CPU: Ryzen 3 3200G
• MOBO: A320M-A PRO M2
• GPU: Radeon RX 570

I purchased a Ryzen 5 3600 for an upgrade. I checked the MOBO website ( A320M-A PRO M2 | Motherboard | MSI Global ) and it said it is compatible.
I've updated my BIOS to version 7C52v19. However the PC won't boot up. The power is on so the fans and rgb lights are working but it is not booting up. I've also tried resetting CMOS by removing the coin like battery in the MOBO for 5 mins. It didn't work.
I'm not sure what to do now. Can someone help please?

Is your monitor hooked up to the GPU, and not the motherboard? Easy mistake to make. Been in a hurry and done it a time or two myself.

yep, it is plugged in to the GPU. I've also tried the old 3200G and everything works.
