after putting in my ryzen 5 3600 with the stock cooler ( wraithe stealth ) i noticed my temps were kinda high. when on my home screen the temps are around 50 degrees and when i was playing rainbow six siege it would be sat from 70 to 85 with a random spike hitting 93 which really caught my attention as this is stupid high. when i was playing Fortnite it sat around 70 degrees which i thought was normal. i have resat my cooler twice and it stayed the same. is there anything i can do because even though im considering buying the hyper 212 im sure i would need a new motherboard for it.
i will leave some pictures so someone can tell me if it will fit.

What good quality aio can be had for $75. I'm all about water cooling, but its certainly not needed in this build. And at a 75 price point, cheaping out doesn't make sense. Most good aio, 240+mm, start at 100.

The 212 or artic will be just fine for this build.
He could get the 120mm nzxt kraken, and it is the cheapest option for a reliable aio.

Okay will try this tomorrow and get back , appreciate the help
Okay i took off my front panel and it looks like this

I have used decompressed air cans to clean but never took off the front bit , it only has a small vent at the bottom to let air in. in bios im sitting at 32° which is not too much off a difference.

I'm not sure if this would help, but maybe switch out your back fan with a working front fan. You could also move one of your front fans so its acts as an exhaust fan. If none of these cooling options work, I would get an aftermarket cooler.
This will be one of the last things to try as i have never removed fans ( i know its not hard ) but im sure there is other things i can do before this?

yes there was , the same amount im getting for it now with it auto boosted
Okay the temps are definitely better and i really have not done much so im a little confused , i took off front panel for a bit and put air on it cleaning off dust but there was not much there anyway

I would leave the front panel off, as it seems to be choking your airflow.

It makes sense that while boosting to rated speeds it will be hotter than when locked.

Again what program are you using for stressing the cpu?

If its staying around that 60 degree mark while gaming or doing other intensive tasks, I would say it's good.

I would invest in a better flowing case before spending money on a new cooler. A new cooler isnt a bad idea, but it's also going to need good airflow. If you dont have much budget look at the fractal focus g. It's a good airflow case and around 60usd. Also check out gamers nexus on YouTube for case reviews and air flow data, he has quite a few.

i have a large budget currently , sorry i wasn't stressing it i was simply testing whilst playing rainbow six siege but its gone back up to around 73 degrees again. i will definitely check out a new case , i will but im scared im going to kick it maybe by accident as it sits to my right under the desk.

This is 73 with the front panel still off? That's not terrible for the stock cooler, and a better cooler will certainly yield results. But without good airflow, a good cooler cant properly function, as you've already proved with your current setup.

If worried about kicking your case, dont get a case with a glass panel. Plenty of good airflow cases on the market with plain aesthetics.
