Hi guys, yesterday i got my new Ryzen 5 5600x and i've already overclocked it. I've used this settings:

Core ratio 45x
Voltage: Offset + 0.08
LLC level: regular
Global C-State: enabled

Mobo: ASUS ROG STRIX B450-E GAMING

I seem stable after several tests and some use in game. Is the overclock ok? Do I need to change any other settings? I come from a Ryzen 7 2700x, but now with this new cpu, i can see a new setting in the bios. FCLK. What is that? Can i leave it in "auto"?

I would also like to overclock my ram, before I couldn't because I was limited to 2800mhz by the Ryzen 2700x memory controller. This is my ram:
https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categ...00MHz-C16-Memory-Kit/p/CMD16GX4M4B3200C16-ROG

What frequency speed could I reach and with what timings?
What can I use to test the ram stability?
In the past I used them at 2800mhz with timings 14-13-13-13-21-43 with 1.35v. For testing them i used prime95 ( i don't remember the settings of the test ) and everything worked well.
Thanks in advance

I didn't try single thread, should i do that?
Well, yes. No neglecting single thread!

Which settings should i use on aida64 to stress the memory?
I justo go on "test system stability", i only leave "stress system memory enabled" and i start the stress test.
How long should I let it test?
1)Just 'stress system memory'. That's it.
There should also be a memory benchmark.

2)The longer, the better.
Overnight is a good start.

Well, yes.
The comparison here:

How can i test the ram? Is there something like cinebench, which in addition to stress the memory gives me a score to understand which are the best settings?

So your default settings scored better in multi thread than your tweaked settings...
And how about single thread?
No, default score ( 3.7ghz ) 10763, overclocked ( 4.5Ghz ) 11529.

Ok, i'll try, thanks!
About the ram, for example, which one is better/faster, 3200mhz c15 or 3466 c16?
If i use the benchmark something is hidden because it's a trial version

Higher frequency is better, but so are lower CL and timings.
Those 2 would be so close that I would say to just get the more affordable one.

Ugh. Figures.
Not much else you can do then... There is Memtest86, but you do need a spare pendrive for it.
Yes, i know about the pendrive.
Anyway now I’m testing 3533Mhz with the same XMP timings and seems stable. Of course I’ll also try to lower the timings.
Thanks!
About the cpu overclock, Is 67 degrees on the CPU test a lot? What is the limit for a daily OC?

is it really 4x4GB or 4x8? did it bsod?
4x4gb and i got error on Aida64 after 1 hour testing. I'm trying 3466Mhz same timings

Passed 4 hours AIDA64 with:
Ryzen 5 5600x 4.5Ghz offset +0.10000
Ram 3466Mhz 16-18-18-18-36-54 1.35v

I'm gonna stop it soon, i think the system is stable enough.
