Hello i think i might have a problem.
My Cpu is running around 55c-60c on indle, 60c-70c on light usage like browsing and youtube. And 80c-95c on gaming.
The Cpu is clocked on 4.7Ghz at 1.1-1.2v and hwinfo doesnt say it thermal throttle.
My question is it is normal to go that high around 90c with Noctua-NH-D15 2 fan mode.
Ambient temp is around 26-29c and i am using CoolerMaster MasterBox 5 Pro RGB with 3 intake front fans and one on the back for pulling air out.The case glass and top became too hot to keep hand on them after 1 hour of gaming.

PC specs:
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B450-Gaming F II
CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 5600x @4.7 on 1.1v-1.2v
Cooler: Noctua NH-D15
Memory - Kingston 2400mhz - 4x8gb
Storage Drives - Kingston Sata 240gb, Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB , Siegate HDD 1TB
GPU - Asus ROG Strix RTX 3080 12GB OC
PSU - Corsair RM850 modular 850w

I am gaming on 1080p monitor - Dell AlienWare AW2521H 360hz.

Hey there,

Take the OC off. Let it run at stock, and then with PBO only. Are the temps still the same?
What thermal paste are you using?

Typically your temps would be in these regions:

Idle - 30-35c
Gaming - 55-70
Stress load - 70-80c.

Of course, ambient temps play apart. You can typically expect your CPU to be about 10-15c above ambient, so your idle temps I'd expect to be about 45-50c.

Ideally you don't want your OC settings to go aboce 80c under heavy load.

Is the cooler seated correctly?

On stock without PBO, max temp is 85c. and Idle is 50c. Gaming on 360hz can push it to 100% on most games and i think its like stress test :D

And i think is seated correctly with thermal grizzly liquid metal
