Question Ryzen 5 7600X or Intel 14600k for new gaming build ?

The below Specs that I am planning but not sure if there are other similar components good in that same budget.
So require help.
Ryzen 5 7600x
( Now Intel 14600k is just 12$ more than 7600x )
MSI b650m gaming wifi
WD black sn770 1TB ssd
Kingston Fury Beast 2x16gb 6000mhz Cl36 RAM
MSI A750GL 750 psu
Deepcool AG400 CPU Cooler
Ant eSports 410TG Case
Gigabyte M27Q 2k monitor or Benq EX240 IPS 1080p monitor ( now everything is upscaling so should I go towards 2k or stick with 1080p, I do play all games AAA and competitive)
GPU I'm thinking of AMD 9070 if price is similar to 7800XT or below and good for 2k gaming.(Nvidia 5070 is premium but those UE5 games favour to nvidia makes me worried...
New GPU power connectors require newer compatible PSU?
Thinking of using this build for atleast 2-3 years if UE5 don't mess with the upcoming games.
I see Intel 14600k shows much better than Ryzen 5 7600 in some youtube videos but shows approx 200w usage compare to 100w on ryzen 7600x.
Is it wise pick to go with intel or i stick with AMD.
If 14600k is better choice then suggest b760m motherboard with good vrms at similar price of AMD mentioned above.

Not to sidetrack but what size monitor would you go up to? I had a 32" 1440p and it was just too big for me. 27" is what I find the perfect size but this is obviously quite a personal thing.

There must be some quality drop off due the reduced ppi at a certain point requiring the step up to 4k but intrigued where you find the cutoff

The monitor( MSI G274QPF E2) im choosing is only showing Adaptive Sync ( no freesync premium) on MSI website and I'm planning to get AMD GPU (RX 9070 or 9070 XT). Should I be using HDMI port for AMD GPU to get adaptive Sync to work just like freesync premium, which will be limited to 144hz, or is it possible to use AMD GPU to use Display port to get full 180hz and have adaptive Sync working for tear free experience?

From my understanding Freesync is basically AMDs rebranding of AdaptiveSync although freesync premium may have a few extra bells and whistles. AdaptiveSync is the VESA defined standard I believe. It should all work the same way.

Regarding which cable to use then I would definitely use displayport if you can to get the full high refresh experience, especially if the hdmi version is limiting you. The adaptive sync will work regardless of which cable you use but it will just work within the refresh rate that is available

I tend to use display port whenever possible as it has historically offered the higher refresh rate. The adaptive sync doesn't really care what cable is used but it would just have limitations in the max refresh rate and work with what is available.

AdaptiveSync is much more of a general standard across the board now than it was previously. This is mainly due to higher refresh screens becoming more commonplace but still needing to be able to fully function when being used at lower refresh rates.

You mentioned you were interested in the 9070 when it came out. See what the reviews say and go from there as we have no idea how the new card will perform.

UE5 feels that it is not very well optimised and is still quite new in the scheme of things. I wouldn't necessarily use today's games as prime examples of performance. A lot of optimisation to be had on both the developers and driver packages yet.

The key here is patience for the reviews to see performance levels. It can be hard but not long to go now
