im overclocked to 3.9 ghz 1.38 volts on my ryzen 5 1600 cpu on a asrock fatal1ty ab350 board. since the overclock temps have been 40c at idle and around 50c to 55c under load. is this normal?
That seems real low temps. What are you using to monitor them? Also, what cooler are you running?
Edit: I should've also asked what you're using to load the CPU?
using coretemp, hwmonitor, etc...…….cooler is a corsair h60 liquid cooler. temps were even lower before higher overclock/voltage. and im playing games like battlefield 1 etc to put a load on the cpu. im hoping the problem is solved, I have not had a blue screen again yet since raising the cpu voltage.
Overclocking raises the temperature. So yeah, it's pretty normal.
Overclocking also draws more power, that's why it crashed prior to raising the voltage.
