Hello, I recently bought a 1050ti for my old pc and I want to try it out on my new pc that has a Ryzen CPU but when I put it in its slot the fan spins for a couple of seconds and then it stops. The first gpu for my Ryzen pc was a 1080 Strix which got delivered dead. But know that this gpu isn't working as well I'm afraid that the motherboard has also died. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

BTW my gpu connector cable is still connected to my psu but it's not being used so it's just sitting there in my case, connected to the psu. Even if I wanted to connect it to my gpu I couldn't because it doesn't need the gpu cable it works by just clicking it in to the pcie slot just like ram.

I'm not understanding that first post because you have a lot jumbled together. The 1050 Ti isn't working, and it does not require a 6 pin pci-ex connector, I understand that. The 1080 was delivered dead, I understand that.

What I don't understand is what the 1080 has to do with anything and why you think the motherboard is dead. Are you saying that you've never used this computer, first because the 1080 didn't work and now the 1050 Ti doesn't work? Have you tested the 1050 Ti in the old computer to make sure it works before you try it with the Ryzen?
