Hello, first of all, English is not my main lenguage, so I apologise if i write something wrong.

I bought a 1800x last month and i did some OC.
i saw a tutorial and i was able to push it to 3.95 Ghz using PStates with a 1.285 V but with a
+0.18 on offset mode in the Vcore voltage and CPU LLC on level 3.
i am using a Asus x470 Crosshair 7 Hero.

my idle temps are arround 40-45 ºC
and my benchmarks are near 85. I want to know if have the "20 degree offsets" that i read on internet that happens on Ryzen 7 first gen X chips.

That is what I want to know, because HW monitor and ryzen master show me the same CPU temps. Some people told me that ryzen master last version (That's what im using) shows me the correct temp. But other people on the internet said that there are 20º more in Ryzen Master to make your fan curve more aggresive.

i opened HW monitor and ran prime 95 for 5 minutes. When it finish, i took a screenshot (see max column)

What is also confising me is that CPU socket temp was 59 on max. but CPU temperature was 82. Does that mean something?

Thanks for your help.

Hi danilobassi44 :)

I would say you are at your OC limit with the Cooler your using. Slightly high Idle temps recorded in Bios at idle and 81C under load tells me this. Ideal temps are 10-15C above ambient room temperature at idle and 60-65C under load.
I have same CPU however using CVI Hero MB combo on one of my rigs and Overclocked to 4.2GHz using an AIO H115i water cooler. My LLC needed an increase to level 5 for stability.
Some temperature monitoring apps still have the 20C offset and I find MWinfo64 monitor to be the most informative and accurate. The Tdie sensor is the important one when under load.
