Question Is an Upgrade worth it or new build?

Hello kind people,

recently my PC is struggling. Monster Hunter Wilds is a huge problem and i also play wow classic which a year or two ago started having huge performance problems. I was thinking of either getting a new PC for max 2000 € or upgrading the PC for less hopefully. i hope you guys can help me out what i should look into. Thanks alot for the help!

Budget Range: 2000€ max after shipping, if i "only" upgrade id prefer to go for less 1500€ ish

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: last time i check on geizhals.at which was cheapest seller in austria and got it there

System Usage from Most to Least Important: mostly Gaming

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: i dont know, gaming performance increase

Do you need to buy OS: probably yes but unsure, will check
Please note that if you're using an OEM license of Windows, you will need a new one when buying a new motherboard.


Parts Preferences: Over 10 years ago i had a bad experience with amd graphics so i prefer nvidia

Overclocking: Maybe

Multiple GPUs: No

Take the side panels off your case, then pass on images of the stickered sides of the PSU. How old is the PSU in your build?

Might want to install and open up CPU-Z, then look at your Mainboards tab. This should also tell you what BIOS version you're on right now.

Fractal Design Meshify C (mini?) 45cm*38Cm*21cm (outside measurements, my GPU just barely fits in)
If you look at the underside of your case, you should find an SKU. Fractal's site is taking a while for it to show up on my end, otherwise I'd have looked for your case based off the dimensions.
