Current build:
Processor: Ryzen 5 3600
Motherboard: Asus TUF Gaming X-570 Plus Wifi
RAM: Corsair Vengrance DDR4, 3600MHz, 32GB
GPU: ASRock RX 5600XT
For Christmas I got a new Ryzen 7 5800X. When I plug in the new CPU, the computer turns on but not to BIOS, and the onboard LED is yellow, indicating a problem with RAM.
I have already tried running with the old CPU, moving the RAM sticks into other slots (but are in the correct slots), running with older RAM I still have, and buying the same type of RAM kit but in 3200MHz (As the 3600 MHz may not be compatible with the CPU?)
Any help would be appreciated! If I need to provide more information let me know.
