[SOLVED] Ryzen 9 3900X - How to control NH-D15?

CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X
Mobo: B550 Aorus Pro
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black
GPU: Zotac RTX 2070 Mini
I have 3 Pure Wings 2 140mm high speed case fans.

I'm getting the dreaded "fan ramping up and down" issue with Ryzens, since they like to boost in temp with the simplest of actions.

How do I deal with this? Fan curve?

Did 30 minutes of AIDA64 Stability test. CPU boost clock remained at 4.07 GHz @ it sat around 83-85C. Is this good?
Those are fine temps about 80 co 85c on a Aida64 stress test is fine. I would set the fans for 800rpm with not much work being done. Then rise up to 1100rpm once CPU is taxed 100 percent and you will get 70'sc to 80's and while gaming you will get 50's to 60'c while gaming as games do not task the entire processor. Barely a couple cores at that. 😷🙉💯✝

Yes, set a manual fan curve that is less aggressive

Alright, thank you! This CPU had 12 bent pins and was revived from the dead.
