My 9700x is at stock. When running Prime95 temperature tops out around 55c, and max power draw is around 88w.
For the first few minutes it maintains clock speed around 5ghz, momentarily boosting as high as 5.4ghzs. Then it starts to drop, to as low as 3.8ghz, then back up to 4.7-4.8ghz.
When the CPU slowed down, the voltage also seemed to drop a little, to 0.95v
Is this normal behavior? I also ran a PassMark CPU test and my score is slightly before the comparison score, so I feel this is ok.
