Hey there Tom's Hardware community!

I am currently flustered by this two build. The question is which one would be better for future proofing and in terms of gaming + multi-tasking (Tasking between rendering, video editings, works and gaming at the same time).

Additionally, the chipset and the GPU is the real deal here... either way it could be a 1400 or 1600 with a 1060 6gb or 3gb... a really brain-aching decision.

Rig 1:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1400+ Wraith Stealth
MOBO: ASUS PRIME A320M-K
RAM: GSKill AEGIS 8GB DDR4 2400mhz
GPU: Gigabyte GTX1060 AORUS Xtreme 9Gbps 6GB DDR5
PSU: Xigmatek X-Calibre 500W 80+ PSU
Case: Xigmatek Octans 236B White

Rig 2:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 + Wraith Spire
MOBO: ASUS PRIME B350M-A
RAM: GSKill AEGIS 8GB DDR4 2400mhz
GPU: EVGA GTX1060 Superclocked ACX2.0 3GB DDR5
PSU: Xigmatek NRP 500W 80+ PSU
Case: Sharkoon Skiller SGC1 RED
HDD: WD 1TB Caviar Blue HDD

I do appreciate all the help I can get! Thank you in advanced <3

If its strictly between these two builds I would go for the 2nd one. With that said if you're open to some changes may I suggest the 2nd build, with a 6gb gtx 1060 (instead of the 3gb), some faster RAM as Ryzen seems to be really dependant on ram speeds and please please please consider a better PSU. I know its not a fancy component but you really want a dependable PSU as if it blows it can take the rest of the system along with it.

Thanks for the suggestion, appreciate it a lot!

Answer: I am actually leaning quite close to the 1600 set-up as it's the best-valued CPU at present. Yet, I have no plans to upgrade the CPU unless Ryzen came out with a decent valued bang for bucks CPU as compared to 1600. Might be selecting the 1600 set-up... I'll look into the comments more and sought it out after. Thanks for taking your time to comment on this post!

The main reason why it's kinda "stuck" at the 3GB variation is due to the "budget". At the moment, I can only bargain for this 2 build as it's within my budget so.... yeah...

Thank you for responding, looking forward to your next response!
