Does anybody know if a Ryzen 3200G APU works on this https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/AB350M-HDV R3.0/index.asp motherboard without updating the BIOS?

It will require a large update to support the 3rd gen CPU. you will need a first gen ryzen CPU to update it or if it has bios flashback you can use a USB. I personally recommend the B450 Tomahawk Max if you can get it then you should it works out of the box with 3rd gen and can handle up to a 3700X.

If it ships with BIOS version P3.10 then it will work, if it's a older version then no.
