Hi,

I will be planning to upgrade my CPU / GPU soon, My current specs are:
Ryzen 3 2200G
Galax OC 1050ti 4GB
8gb DDR4 2400Mhz

I can't decide what to upgrade my CPU or GPU
my plan was
Upgrading my Ryzen 3 2200g to Ryzen 5 2600
Galax OC 1050ti 4GB

or

Ryzen 3 2200G
Upgrading my 1050ti 4gb to 1060 3gb/6gb

My plan is too focus more on gaming, a bit of editing if I need to.

Any help/suggestion will be appreciated

I'd get the 2600(X) first to get the most out of your 1050Ti until Nvidia launches the 11xx series. Then you'll have the options of either buying into the 11xx series or look for discounted 10xx models.

I wouldn't recommend a GPU with less than 4GB of VRAM since some games are beginning to require more than 3GB and performance goes down the drain the moment VRAM capacity gets exceeded. If you get a GTX1060 and don't want to need to replace it next year, aim for the 6GB model.

1. Sell off your Ryzen 3 2200G
2. Get yourself a Ryzen 5 1700 (instead of Ryzen 5 2600) and overclock it.
3. Later when you have enough money, sell off the GTX 1050Ti get a GTX 1070Ti.
4. Later sell off your 8GB 2400MHz DDR4 RAM Stick and get 8GB X 2 3200MHz DDR4 RAM Sticks.

Oh, so I should sell my Ryzen 3 2200g then replace it with 2600 or 1700

Some people like doing buy-and-sell. Prefer buying CPUs slightly faster than what I need for the foreseeable future and use the hell out of it instead of buying temporary CPUs. You can try selling a 2200g, though I am skeptical about how much of a second-hand market there might be for AMD's lowest-end Ryzen APU.

While the 1700 gets you two extra cores, the 2600(X) gets you a more power-efficient tweaked architecture with ~10% better performance per core which often puts it ahead of the 1800X for gaming.
