Sabertooth 990fx no post vga led on

I've completed my install

Sabertooth 990fx
AMD fx 6100 cpu
NVidia 460GTX
16GB Corsair vengence DDR3

All the fans turn on, everything seems to be running, but I get no POST beeps and my VGA led stays on. I know the video card works I have pulled it out and tested it another machine. Ive reset CMOS both ways and still nothing.

you have external power running to the video card?

try removing the video and RAM see if u get beeps (mobo & speaker test)

then add RAM, you should then get video card beeps
add video card and it should post.

I do have power hooked up to the video card

I pulled out the card and the RAM....no beeps

next step?

just reinstalled RAM but not card and I get a long beep followed by 2 short beeps which is a RAM issue. So after a few reattemps I got all the RAM installed to where I don't get the beeps anymore, but the VGA light is still on. I tried reinstalling the card and I'm back to no beeps and a lit up VGA led.

Also I've tried to card in every possible slot and I get the same effect
