Sabertooth help

puting my build together and my asus sabertooth wont recognise my ssd or hdd help please

Which Sabertooth do you have and is your BIOS up to date?

I have hard drive issues with my sabertooth x79 also ... asus tech support was no help. I'm trying a few things right now and will let you know what I find that works. Hopefully it will help you out too.

Give us some specifics. What type of ST? Z77, Z68, X79? System specs?

Regardless, try updating the BIOS.

thanks and its the z77 board with bios 801

Bios 801 is the first BIOS release for the Sabetooth.
There have been quite a few updates to the BIOS.

I think the BIOS is 1403 now and that it uses the light color SATA ports for the SSD.

Go right to 1403 no problem.

Yes as I stated before, I have the x79 and ran into hard drive issues. This was cured with a bios update. I believe this will help you. The others that posted are definately on the right track.
